Hello, all -
My name is Ms. Payton, and I will be your facilitator for both Edgenuity and CTC courses. This is my tenth year as a teacher at Ellison High School, and I expect it to be a wonderful year!
A little bit about me -
I graduated high school from Westlake High in Austin Texas in 1997 and obtained a BA in Liberal Arts from Texas State University in 2007. Yes, I took the scenic route through college. I the graduated with an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus on Technology from Concordia in 2014. I am currently in Phase II of my Doctoral program at Concordia and will obtain my E.Dd in Higher Education. My dissertation will be about the effects of bullying on a high school campus.
When I am not studying, I am spending time with my wonder pack of rescue dogs. Remington, who is in the photo below, is my standard poodle. He is such a ham!
